Lovell (CDR): Uh, Houston, we've had a problem.

Lovell (CDR): We've had a MAIN B BUS undervolt.

  • The term is actually, "Houston, We've HAD a problem. Main Bus B Undervolt".

Jim Lovell can't even get his own quote right... And Apollo 13 was real? Yeah, sure... I'm sure man walked on the moon...

  • Interestingly NASA's own website has the transcription as "main bus b interval" although it's certainly "undervolt".

  • R.I.P John Calloway.

  • bus undervolt.

  • It's interesting that Lovell mis-quotes himself here...but I guess it's just easier after all this time.
