A very brief video of the new Elecraft P3 panadapter (spectrum scope). The transceiver is the K3. This video was shot using the Canon EOS 5D Mark II D-SLR.

  • @AudiophileTubes Not even close sir. Upon further investigation you will find this panadapter can do things Icom can only dream of, and its almost instantaneous. The on board flash-able DSP will make it only better with time.

  • You would be better off using a Flex Radio where you can at least watch a huge chunk of the band or 2 bands at the same time with the 5000A with a second receiver option. I believe ICOM, Kenwood and others will be going under soon since they do not keep up with technology.

  • Yea, I don't know... the sweep speed on my pro III and 7600 are so slow.. makes the scope barely usable. I'm going to price-out a K3 and P3 right now.

  • wow...

  • Not needed

  • Flex Radio band scopes blow away Icom's

  • Looks CHEAP. Like a toy. Icom's spectrum bandscopes blow this one away.
