The particular video presents one of Satie's less known works ,the first Nocturne,in a rather unorthodox manner :accompanied by symbolistic paintings!I would be really grateful if you could tell me whether this blending works so PLEASE leave relevant comments!

  • it seems to be pretty universal that Satie's music is associated with a sort of lovely creepiness... only way I can describe it

  • I feel like a man on a tightrope, struggling to maintain balance.

  • @markitymark90 Is that not an apt description of life, as well?

  • @cansaran11 or tragic end...

  • @lmfviolet78 i would say that its beauty announces its tragedy

  • Great choice !!!!I have a similar video of my friends' paintings ,accompanied by Gnossiene 1 . Satie's music is always wandering ,always measured yet undecided. By reflecting on the paintings and this music I was thinking that perhaps this piece represents what it would have felt like to live in the era of industrial evolution , see the changes of lifestyle and trying to search for a meaning of it all .

  • it's not Water snakes but Fishblood by Gustav Klimt

  • The Pictures/paintings to the pc. of music were very nice -- nothing stuck out to detract from the beauty of the piece. I think that's 1st evidence of a success. I know about spending hours finding the right word, the right blend, you have done a wonderful job. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for your work and for posting.

  • lovely loneliness i'd say

  • Excellent choice.

  • I feel like balance struggling to maintain the tightrope man thinks he walks on.

  • who the heck does that!!!
