@snowleopard40 Thanks for your kind comments. From Church Stretton as far as where the walk joins the Shropshire Way (and that is where the path across the Midland Gliding Club leaves the road that runs along the Long Mynd), its best to use the OS Landranger Map No. 137. After that, you can use a Shropshire Way guidebook except for the final path and road into the centre of Craven Arms- again use the OS Map for that. The entire walk is on OS Landranger No. 137.

how far is this walk? How long did it take you?

The walk is around 14 miles long and takes me 6-7 hours to complete as there are some stiff climbs.

I don't live in the area- I just get the train from Craven Arms at the end of the walk. There are a few trains between Church Stretton and Craven Arms.
