@josebachata i can understand you. But this unit is more for like home "studio" purpose, so you punch record with your hands, and play guitar then stop recording and record second track bass or guitar or whatever, after it third track etc. Its not guitar looper. Its just DAW.
@pupack how do i punch in and out my recoreding if im playing guiter with both hands.. and my old multitrack had a punch in and out for recording does this have one do u understand me now?
I'm thinking of buying a mixer to plug in 7 mics, which I'll use to record drums. I'm having a hard time making the correct decision, would the Proel M8 be good for that as well, or does the zoom r16 has any real advantages over the proel? Any help would be appreciated.
Individually. You can only do 8 simultaneously, but you can choose any combination of recorded tracks to play back while you record more tracks, up to 16 mono maximum for one project. (a stereo recording would take up two channels.

So.. if i use this as a DAW, can i record more than 16 tracks on the computer? Sorry, im rather noobish at recording.
