UPDATE: This exploit has been fixed in a recent patch. Relic names this the 'butterfly' exploit.
I accidentally found this out in a public game and I didn't get to record it. I made a private game and recorded it there.
This is for the PC version of the game, I'm not sure whether it's on the PS3/360.
Just switch weapons and alternate between them and you'll fly back up.

@DGneoseeker1 This glitch/exploit has been fixed some time ago, but you had to switch weapons back and forth to be able to fly like that.
