  • Fascinating. There was quite a bit of lead pipe running throughout the kitchen building so there must have been some sort of rudimentary plumbing in the house. It had always amazed me that they thought of how to build fancy outdoor fountains before they thought of making flush toilets & indoor water sources. I guess that those sort of things just weren't a priority.
