  • Best design I've seen so far. That accent rocks too!

  • @TheSphistak Cheers m8, and haha glad u liked it.

  • Ok, i would guess that the filtration system is reducing the flow, maybe try taking everything out of the filter and see if it flows better, and if it does ull know thats the problem. how bigs the tank? mine is only a 4 foot tank, and my sump is 2 and a half foot.

  • hi, i cant get the water level steady in my sump. the pump either doesnt suck the water out fast enough or when i adjust it, it slowly the pump the water level slowly decreases. i cant get it still. HELP ME!!!!!

  • @monsterman1122 I have a tap in my sump inlet pipe which can be ajusted to suit the pump flow, but it should stay steady anyway is your inlet pipe skimming the top or do you have it below the water level in your tank? mine is just like a drain the more water that pumps in the tank the more gos down the drain, if trhat makes sense. also how big are your pipes? mine are 1 inch internal. hope it helps mate

  • Hi, that's a pretty cool sump tank especially the bio ball flow through chamber. I have a 6 foot which has 2 drains same way as yours is fitted except mine are higher up the wall. This severely restricts drainage and limits filtration. Better to have the hole higher up the tank at water level so the water drops straight down the pipe or have the pipe go up through the floor of the tank and straight into the sump.

    Cheers

  • @pablopaha Thanks for your comment m8. again pls watch the update, this was the first vid and was just a test run, there is an elbow out of the hole and an extended tube that sucks only the top of the water, the elbow actually reduces noise that is why i did it that way.

  • nice set up

  • @AUSDAN100

Why no fish? Just plants or what? thanks

  • @AUSDAN100 hey , i have an eshopps wet dry filter and it has a 1 inch u tube that goes down to the filter. There are no pipes, just the tubing from the overflow box to the filter. The return pipe has no pipe its just tube right from the filter and i can adjust the pump. They said the 1 inch u tube sucks 400gph and my pumps max is 475gph

  • @joelcube been flat out, but its coming.
