An absolute face melting, blood curdling, guitar shredding, stuck in an insane asylum track from Ty Segall and his band's (Mikal, Charlie, & Emily) upcoming album "Slaughterhouse", out June 26th on In The Red. Ty cranks his amp up to 11, and fuzz pedal set to "obliterate" on this MONSTER of a track. Sabbath would be proud! Make sure to support this artist and buy the LP when it comes out! BYE-BYE!

People keep complaining that our generations music sucks. Its not that the music sucks its our society that encourages the shit music and makes it famous. There are actually plenty of bands that have the beautiful inspiration that bands like zeppelin and the sex pistols had but our generation doesnt respect it enough because they are so blinded by the profanities that stand before them (im talkin bout kesha n shit) So I say make segall famous because its people like this who deserve it.

I would love to have a hot make out session to this song for no reason at all.

All I'm saying is this: As more and more people choose not to listen to the fantastic music presented before them on a silver platter OR pirate music illegally for free instead of buying albums, eventually bands will have no choice but to quit. It's one thing to say they don't do it for the money, but you still have to live and produce more albums, which is expensive. I'm not saying it'll be cheap, I'm saying the money won't be there at all. EVENTUALLY.

People who truly care about the art form don't do it for the money. If you support a band, go see them live, that will help out greatly. If anything, this is the best time for a nobody to release their music and become somewhat financially stable because of the internet.

Yeah, but I don't think it's about us. It's about the bands. When it becomes impossible to make money and write good music at the same time, people won't bother. And who would blame them? I seriously worry that following our current trend, we're gonna run stone cold out of good music, and all that will be left is the radio...

but the popular music of any era generally has always been catchy, easy to listen to music that lacks substance. Anyways in the internet age it's pointless to whine about what's popular and what isn't because everything is accessible online.

I see what you mean, and music is ENTIRELY subjective. But seriously, music you hear on the radio is so mindless, and it feels like there just isn't any thought put into it. It seems like it's all made for the money, not for the music.
