It's a scene from the very funny classic PILLOW TALK (1959).
In this scene, songwriter Brad Allen (played by Rock Hudson) is trying to get back with a woman (excellent played by Doris Day, but not in this clip) by getting the advice from her maid, heavydrinker Alma.
Thelma Ritter got an Oscar nomination for playing Alma and this is her best scene. She's always funny. Too bad she never won an Oscar, though she was nominated 6 times.
