Falling in Love with Rachel Alexandra at the Haskell Invitational

My wife and I fell in love with Rachel Alexandra even before we attended the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park. I took these photos of the beautiful and amazing filly when she was schooling in the paddock two days before the Haskell and during the very exciting race. It was a moving experience to be so close to such greatness. This is the 640x360 pixel format for a total of 37 MB. A lower resolution version ( 480x272 pixels, 21 MB) is also available.

taav - thank you for the great photos - of a great filly (change that to "a great horse") -her courge and guts in the Woodward (running at a brutal punishing pace) will never e forgotten.
