Held for the 36th consecutive year and organised annually by the Rotary Club of Colombo North and the Colombo Y.M.C.A. in association with the Ceylon Thespians, the Boys' Final of the ISSDC 2009 was great! The results: Winner - Maristella College, Negombo for 'A Mid Summer Night's Dream' 1st Runners Up - D. S. Senanayake College, Colombo 7 for 'Romeo and Juliet' 2nd Runners Up - St. Joseph's College, Colombo 10 for 'Hamlet' 3rd Runners Up - Wesley College, Colombo 9 for 'A Mid Summer Night's Dream' Best Actor All-Island: Daminda Wijayaratne (Maristella College, Negombo) Best Supporting Actor: Prathap Kumarapperuma (St. Joseph's College, Colombo) Best Actor Outstation: Daminda Wijayaratne (Maristella College, Negombo)
