Beautiful! He sang "tyashka" (heavy and sad) at the end ......I say wonderful"! He is surely on his way to sing Scarpia and Jago...and all the other dreamatic baritone parts. It is good to hear a dark baritone with soft covered power in the high register! Elegant!

Wow, this is a fantastic vocal performance! To me, there seemed to be no unecessary tension. I cannot fault this. Great voice! I better start working on my Russian so i can learn this aria.

Bravo, Pavel. This is, at least in the US, a far too overlooked aria. It is a tour de force for an accomplished Bass-Baritone, and you have done a wonderful job.

I am working on this aria myself, so your clp is very helpful. I only wish the language flowed as easier for me as it does for you ;)
