  • As I could understand from her words, she wants to stay "just a little longer", she doesn't say "forever". She doesn't seem to come from a well-off family, so it's a natural desire to stay longer in a place where you feel comfortable. She's not asking for a political asylum, which is important. Don't mix up "fleeing poverty" with "fleeing a political regime", which I suspect you, ThePressDemocrat, want us to do.
