@Carl007Jr The second Battle of Dorylaeum took place at Dorylaeum on October 25, 1147, during the Second Crusade. Conrad III, running out of provisions, stopped there to rest, and his army of 20,000 men was annihilated by the Seljuk Turks led by Mesud I. The Germans were unable to continue the Crusade, and Conrad made his way (with his remaining army of 2,000 men) to the army led by Louis VII of France, although the Crusade eventually failed completely.

@Carl007Jr The numbers were 150.000 on the Turkish- Persian side and 25-30.000 on the allied Crusaders side in total with the majority of the so called noncombatants who were in Knights escort and bared no arms! The number of fighting force was estimated around 10.000 men at arms of which were 2.000 cavalry. The battle lasted for seven hours and resulted in Crusaders victory!!

@Carl007Jr You are a history major graduated student?!Do you even realize how stupid that sounds when you are compeltelu ignorant on this matter?! Do you even know that there were two separate battles of Dorylaeum??? Let me educate you a littler bit on this. The first battle occurred in 1097. fought between the French and German Crusaders led b the Bohemond of Taranto,Godfrey of Bouillon and Adhemar of Le Puy The Seljuk Turks were led b the Kilij Arslan I and Ghazi ibn Danishmend.Crusaders WON!

@Carl007Jr I think the guy was reffering to the first battle at Dorylaeum rather than the second which is the one that you mentioned.

@robertkjfg this is the saddest video i've ever seen. First of all, it was even odds. The Germans were 15,000-20,000, and the Turks were 15,000-20,000. The Turks won. I'm sorry that you're living in a fantasy world, but the Turks destroyed the Germans in this battle, and nearly every other battle fought between them. I graduated with my history major, learn your stuff, kiddo.
