This is a very rare IMSAI 8048 Control Computer. According to some, less than 500 were ever produced. I have no idea if this is accurate but that's what is claimed by many.
I have started to create a schematic for this. When that is complete, I hope to disassemble the listing, to get the functionality built-in.
Progress:
1) Schematic - about 60% done.
2) Relay Addressing - completed. I can now control relays from a program.
3) Display Addressing - completed the buzz out of the display
4) Keyboard reading - completed the buzz out of the keyboard
5) Chip selects for functions - in work
5) Cassette In/Out - in work
If anyone has any documentation on this, I'd like to know more about what it does. Especially memory maps and code entry points. I will eventually get all of this when I finish the schematic but anything I can get ahead of time, will save some time.
