She played 12 out of 15 songs off of Middle Cyclone. Unfortunately, I was only able to get this one and "I'm an Animal" -- two songs which have already been recorded at a prior date. After hearing pretty much the entire album live all I can say is WOW -- it's going to be good. Maybe one of two songs fell a bit flat. I wasn't too terribly excited about the new album, but now it's easily in my top five most anticipated albums of the year.

Oh yeah, sorry about my recording off-center. That was sort of out of my control for this song....

@phatzmb Paul is awesome, but I don't think the guitar technique used to play a chord progression that someone else wrote (Neko) constitutes a song-writing credit honestly.

Paul Rigby is a master. As far as I know he doesn't get any writing credit, yet surely Neko didn't come up with these guitar parts!?! Paul's guitar playing is such a big part of the music for me!

if you don't have The Virginia you must buy it! If you love Furnace it's equally good, and her good country roots resonate loudly... Not as dark as furnace CAN be but beautiful just the same.

I agree. Nashville is losing out. Her new album hit the top 5 when it came out. She's the Patsy Kline of 2009!
