  • After watching this, I immediately went to iTunes and the studio version of this was available. This song, and particularly this version by Saeta and the other musicians whose names I wish I knew, has quite literally saved my life over a very difficult past couple of years. Saeta's version has enriched and inspired me in ways I cannot begin to describe. Thank you to all involved for the studio recording and this live version post. As a performing drummer myself, this song is so important to me.

thats a really nice thing to say about us. Thank you ! We were inspired by the version that the band Low performs. Lesli blew the roof off the place when we first played the song and we decided to record it. Steve Albini recorded it in Chicago for our album version. We are a very acoustic band and Albini records on analog tape. It really can be heard clearly on that album. So very different than digital recordings.

  • the 3 instruments go very well together. the changes in the middle to get to the final blows me away. The voice fits so well with that part. Amazing !

  • wow, thanks for the compliments! bob on the cello

  • thanks ! We did record this for an album back in 2004. Lesli is great isn't she!
