Title: Tiger attacks Lion in Zoo.

Yesterday night at around 10pm, a 200kg male Royal Bengal tiger named Raphael escaped from his enclosure at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo. Zookeepers searched for him for hours but failed to find him.

He was finally found the next day at 9am in the enclosure of a 250kg African Lion named Leo. Leo was seen sitting at the corner of his enclosure licking his wounds. Raphael, on the other hand, was seen scent marking in Leo's enclosure when he was found.

"The enclosure was filled with fur from the lion's mane." said Murali Murugun, the zookeeper who found the tiger. Leo was badly injured, one of his canines broken, his jaw dislocated and had a long cut on his face which requires stitches. Raphael had no obvious injury except that the lion's claw was stuck on his hind leg.

"We are still finding out how Raphael managed to escape his enclosure." said Krishna Hasmula Natani, the director of Thailand's Sriracha Tiger Zoo."

^End of article.

I intially thought it was fake and not authentic when i found it on google last month. However i managed to find the website of the Zoo(Sriracha Tiger Zoo) and emailed them if the event had occured, and they told me that it is factual.

Here is the link to Thailand's Sriracha Tiger zoo's website: http://www.tigerzoo.com/

So i guess it is an authentic article then. Anyway here is the link to the article(i uploaded it to imageshack for viewing pleasure):

  • Fake story! There is no newspaper named the Thai Times in Thailand!

  • Who made the article? Does not look autentic to me. 9 out of 10 stories like this are internet hoax. Many of them are very good. I have seen much better than this.

  • the tiger killed the lion. that newspaper is real, see the date on the top. there is a newspaper called the thai times in thailand. that is a true story. stupid lion fan boys always claim bullshit lion this bla bla bla lion that bla bla bla but when we get an RELIABLE account of a tiger-lion fight, lion fans make excuses. tigers killed lions in history way more often than the other way around.
