@AlanSturgess To add a few more comments for @backroadsonline: if you search my channel, you'll find other demos by Paul. One is of the Luna Trinity which I also tried. It looked fairly chunky with an exceptionally thick soundboard, but it played beautifully with a much sharper sound. The Breedlove, of course, doesn't use bridge pins (like most LAG guitars). I've not heard of any problems with this guitar, but I'd still be inclined to do the normal 12-string thing and detune by at least a tone.

@backroadsonline As demo shows, I'm not the guitarist, it's Paul Del Nevo. It's his shop that closed. What I can say however, is that when I travelled down to meet him and to try some guitars, one that I was really interested in was this 12 string. My previous 12 had been a Fender which was OK but not much more than a standard 'workhorse'. The Breedlove was superb - very low and light action; great resonant sound but also capable of great subtlety. I urge you to find a dealer and try one.

Sorry to hear you closed up shop. That was some nice tasteful playing. I'm actually in the market for a 12 string and was eyeing the Breedlove J350-EF12. Any thoughts on the model? Right now the frontrunner is a Taylor 355-CE, beautiful guitar, just a bit more coin.
