I'm from Brisbane and I don't support the Bears but I do support their revival!
Bring in a Central Coast team, bring is a Central Queensland team because those places are heart-lands for rugby league but they don't have their own team to support.
Create those teams and I assure you the Rugby League will only get stronger and our beautiful game can only go for good to better.

via the Federal Govt and Joe Hockey encouraging this moment. I am pleased that my team will return after 14 years in the wilderness. I went and watched North Sydney play in 2007 Premier League Grand Final that was my favourite and cherished moment. But to see them play again will re-awaken my love for the game. I will feel like the Game has restored some pride in itsself. I am happy that South Sydney a fellow brother took over the Bears as a Junior team and carried them into the Game.

When I see the return of the Central/North Sydney Bears return to North Sydney Oval. Me an old Chatswood child raised 80's will go to the North Sydney Oval to see Manly defeated. Manly should pay and suffer for what they did. They offered every avenue and option dissolve that merger and kill the North Sydney Bears. I am grateful of political support

However, it was the NRL who claimed a celebration of 100 years of Rugby League made me spit at them and have disregard for the organisation NRL, who is at this present time running and managing the game at the moment. I lost my team to a merger with my most hated enemy Manly, then the Northern Eagles. When the NRL celebrated 100 years of Rugby League back in 1908, I said to my mates shame on them as they allowed the then foundation teams including Newtown back in 1984, North Sydney 1999 and South Sydney in 1999, the merger of Western Suburbs and Balmain together as a strike to the heart of the foundations of Rugby League in particular. It was false celebration to claim because NRL did not believe or truly aspire to the history of the game. They should have made every effort save these teams
