  • Their 1972 Aire performance is way better than this one. I don't know why Cetera can't get the words right, it's not that difficult. At least Seraphine was still drumming.

  • It's a helluva song. Just me or is Cetera not getting the lyrics right? Think they might have been-well KNOW they were all still in grief and a state of shock after Terry's tragic, accidental death. And it WAS an accident.

  • yes was my favorite back then...of this band..

  • live recordings always sound like shit

  • bass player is drunk.

  • PC totally took this band another 15 years. Anybody who says he's didnt' -- is an ignorant wanna be TK

  • I remember the commercial from back then for Celeste pizzas. Abbondanza!! Bobby Lamm sings it instead of ...Eh Compare, ci vo suonare. I truly enjoy all these different takes on chicago performances. Thanks JMex

  • Oh that is SO true @the Horns! If ever there were THREE peas in a pod, it's them-they instinctively seem to know what each will do next and make it look so smooth ! I think TK would've gotten it together-he had everything to live for.How soon we forget the 70's were a decade when all the h*ll that broke loose in the late '60's came to fruition before everyone cleaned up their act. Undoubtedly TK would 've done the same.Know he would've pulled it together, saying," not as many Power Ballads!"

  • Well even as a founding member, people are bound to have differing opinions. I'm surprised the horn section didn't want to leave after how the 80s treated them. I think if it wasn't for them performing all the classics at concerts, they probably would have left. You are right though. The true talent does die young. Terry was a true pillar of the band. Cetera was too though an dto me still is. Kinda wonder though, if the direction of their music would've went the same had Terry lived....

  • Cetera could not have possibly known what Terry would or would not have done-and Terry's not around to give HIS side of it. I know that TK did not like the "power ballads" they were doing.Find it very difficult to believe as one of the founding members-Walt P., TK and Danny-Kath would've wanted out of the band.I like Peter before all the PC fans come after me(!) but only the good die young. A tragic accident. Terry wasn't just good-he was the best. R.I.P. Terry

  • underrated.the band i'm in did this as a halftime show the year before i was a freshman.I also happend to move from chicago that year.
