  • ZZZZZZZZZZZZ................

  • er, its not actually, this the test level which the programmers named 'Citadel'. It was to test out the multiplayer features that the game was capable of, then the programmers deleted it from the code, but parts of it remained and then GS users were able to restore it to what you see above....

its interesting, i even named my last tune after it lol

see all

  • glitchy and shit. waste of time

  • Citadell.

  • Thats the glitchy citadell level.

  • @waterboundsnv you say that you will only get 100 views? this is awesome!

  • *You're*

The N64 cartridge uses a read-only solid state memory, known as ROM. Only meant to retain information and be read.

RAM, on the other hand, is random access memory, it is not meant to retain information, but only temporarily hold it until it is no longer needed. And unlike ROM, it loses it upon losing power source. RAM is basically used as a buffer for the HDD and other high demand tasks.

  • @SammySparrow96 no problem, at least thats my understanding anyway, this is my all time favourite game and i love researching into stuff like this!

Im not too sure on the workings of the N64 cartridge, but im sure it is some description of RAM, as you say. I know that they didn't have a fraction of the capability of modern discs....thats what makes this game so remarkable!

  • @DJPaddy643 oh ok hmmm....was all the space on the N64 cartridges

    RAM?

And thanks for replying straight away
