@blakeblakster85 You need a certain type of software to open .iso files. If you run Windows 7, you should be able to without downloading anything, but if you have Windows Vista or below, download PowerISO

do i have to buy the real installation disc??? like if my operating system is WINXP, so if i want to run vista using virtual box, i have to buy the vista installation disc? please reply soon...

Yep, you can have an iso (disc image), or have a physical disc. There are torrents and illegal websites to download from but I'm not gonna encourage you to do that, just stay legit.

LOL, it's basically the install disc. An iso is the file you burn to the disc to make it installable. E.G if you have a Vista.iso file, then you can use that, but it is the same as a Vista Installation Disc, which you do have to buy.
