Unfortunately, A lot of the views in this video have now been TOTALLY DESTROYED, Thanks to the OLYMPICS Large areas of the park now look like a BOMB SITE.

Lol hackneys not rough no more. Its full of weird artists and cool bars. Love that place and the park is awesome

be careful around the surrounding area though if i was you quite rough

Wow, I had no idea there was such a lovely place as this in Hackney. My dad was from there, they got bombed out during the war.

It's beautiful... I'm going to see Radiohead perform there as part of my tour of England this summer. I'll definitely have to take a stroll before the concert begins. I'm afraid most areas in America don't have the same respect for nature.

Thank you so very very much for this. I left Hackney nearly 20 years ago, and lived just off the park. It was a pleasure seeing it in all its glory, and pleased to see the dogs still there although damaged. Thank you

Yes, I made this movie. I was born in Hackney, grew up and went to Lauriston Road school. Most of the photos were taken by myself or family. Glad you liked it and nice to know someone else got some pleasure from my memories - thanks.
