Hannibal revealing himself as an ex-vamp ,Drake`s origin flashback , Drake throwing that Goth dude out the window and raping & killing that Goth chick , Danica threatening to turn Hannibal again genuinely terrifying him , the climactic fight between Blade and Drake and ofcourse Drake repeating Vanessa Brooks` " The thirst always wins " lecture with his last breath suggesting he once resisted it like Vanessa , Blade and King .

1 . It would`ve been way too expensive for the budget they had
2 . It would`ve lost the urban feel that made the first two films so successful
They decided to make it more like the early Blade comics which were more " black comedy " while retaining the action and horror elements of the first two films . Besides , there were dark moments . Blade being set up & exposed by that familiar , Whistler`s death , Drake`s ressurrection , the police chief & shrink being familiars ...

I loved Blade Trinity ! Yes , the first two Blade films & Blade : The Series are better but I think alot of the haters are ignorant of the genesis of the third Blade film . You see , David S. Goyer wanted to make the third Blade film the darkest of all with Blade fighting to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland ( we`re talking wayyyy distant future here )overrun by vampires . So basically , " Mad Max " with vampires . But , the studio interfered for two reasons :
