The Streets of San Francisco

This is the very first time I've seen and heard the intro to this series in 30 years(probably not since 1979 when I was a little kid).
By the way,Michael Douglas played again a San Francisco police detective in the movie,"Basic Instinct"(1992).

It was! Then came The Equalizer and Edward Woodward became my hero! I was a weird kid :D

does anybody remember the episode where a bunch of mobsters was after a woman's brother(?) . One scene had one of the mobsters grabbing on and holding the woman's nearly buttoned shirt collar in a firm but gentle fashion, and leading her into the next room

The 2 best things I remember about this show are Clint Howard's starring episode (he was great), and the one in the BART station when BART was under construction. Both are snapshots of American culture.

Voiceover:

"Laura Heineman(?) (am I pronouncing that right?)"

The dramatic delivery is right up Stephen Colbert's alley.

Great show, great actors and great theme song!!!...Used to watch this show every week!
