Re: DIversity: They were already well-known in their field. Their final routine was a short version of one they had done the year before in what seemed to be a national championship. (Check videos here.) Other acts that were also well-known in a narrow field, but got great exposure on BGT: Kate & Gin, Crazee Horse, Ben & Becky, Iona, etc. Add the unappreciated pros--Julian Smith, James Stone, Irresistible, Escala. BGT is not just about amateurs coming out of nowhere.
