IBM researchers are teaming with California Department of Transportation and UC Berkeley to look at the problem of traffic as a data problem. Together, they are developing a solution that uses predictive analytics to help commuters avoid traffic congestion before it even happens and enable transportation agencies to better understand, predict and manage traffic flow.
