Annual Halloween parade in New York

Hundreds of New Yorkers turned out for the annual 'The Village's Halloween parade' in a crowd which included showgirls, action heroes and U.S. presidents.

Thousands lined the streets to watch the revellers as Frankenstein, Spiderman and countless witches paraded the streets. The parade has been a New York tradition since 1973.
