Hitchens vs Mos Def

Im actually surprised at the mental incompetence of Mos Def, knowing his music and his message. It's quite fascinating to watch this man be so intellectually dishonest and weak as he hangs on the mantle of "Free Thinker" as some sort of higher understanding then the reality he lives in.

This is liberalism at it's core, liberalism defined by the societal psychosis of the masses in America to More..day. Intellectually lazy, self-righteous, in denial of all truth no matter it's origins, a need to morally equivocate their society's actions to those of the most despot and disgusting of humanity's radical factions.

I detest bill maher and his staged propaganda show, and putting this lightweight up against hitch is embarrassing and disgusting. There are many educated and articulate black people that would have been much more suitable to appear on this debate.

@sidvidkid Well, that's just further proof that you have not watched this show or "Politically Incorrect" his old show. His show is one of the only shows that purposely has a diverse panel of different races and genders and politics. He has authors, actors, politicians, musicians, radio personalities, ect. Trust me, Bill is famous for having diversity and you insinuated the one person who does have diversity on his show.....to be bias. Seriously, do some research before you talk next time.

OK.. well you're just wrong. He was PLENTY of arabics and asians, and he almost always has a woman on. Why did he put Mos Def on? Because this ISN'T a political news show, it's a COMEDY. Whatever "leftist propaganda" you see is imaginary. All of Bill's audience are assumedly democrats already, and he certainly never hides his political affiliation. What kind of "propaganda" is this? It's clear you've never watched more than one or two of his shows, you're just so quick to judge.

In my opinion its like putting a light weight in the ring with a heavy weight. I have never seen such a miss match in all my life. I have watched many many politics discussion shows from many countries and i have never seen someone so ill informed as this mos def guy, who ever he is.

It would be the exact same as putting britney spears or lady gaga on a politics show - no one would ever dream of doing that.

All of bills shows i have seen are rampant leftist propaganda.

Point taken, i have not seen very many of bills shows, but i dont remember ever seeing a black man, an asian man, an arabic man, and it seems its also extremely rare to see even a white female on his shows. The guests seem almost exculsively white ruling class males.

But i still say 'mr definately' had no business being on this show and bill would have known that very well. So the question must be asked, why would he put this moron on his show?
