E' una cosa emozionante!!! Bellissimo
-
Finally...it is performed and on YouTube!
The only extant recording I had ever heard of this was on an old vinyl recording from the "Music of the Baroque Era" Readers Digest series--with FULL choir.
This is the first time I've heard this digitally. Love the acoustics! One of the warmest, sweetest pieces of music I have ever heard, from any era.
If you ever want to truly impress people with an eclectic, obscure yet brilliant gem, play this for them--Buxtehude wasn't just an organist!

Thank you... this was thoroughly enjoyable.

Nice voices and music! but I'm afraid the alto does not sing in tune at 7:15

definitely fun to listen to, but would be that much better with a gamba & a counter-tenor (or a mezzo sans vibrato, if one exists)

Perfect tempi. Beautifully performed. Wish someone would do a new recording availible for purchase or Spotify.

My kids used to sing this piece when singing in a kids chorus. I loved it... and it is so difficult to find.
At 5.45 it stops and I cannot go on! Is it just a my pc problem?
