i have a green cheek conure, but she wont do anything! the only thing she does is step up, haha

@morigami92 Hmmm I pretty much made the noise constantly kind of as a greeting and she just incorporated it, and whenever she did it I would praise her lavishly and give her a sunflower seed sometimes(I don't give food treats all the time.) The dance trick I saw her do and I would say "dance!!" every time she did it and praise her, and I would also bob up and down and say the word dance, until she put two and two together- that bob head up and down=dance! I look ridiculous but idc! LOL

@GANSTA6033 Just be patient and persistent and you will be successful. Start with basic stuff and work up to more complicated things, and always be consistent with what you are trying to teach.

I'm happy to say that I've had my own pineapple conure for a week now :) I want to teach her the same tricks you taught ruby but first she needs to learn that my hand isn't a chew toy lol! How old was Ruby when you brought her home?

@morigami92 Do you have small "foot toys" for her to chew on? If you distract her with those she will be less likely to nibble your hand. Ruby was about 12 weeks old when I brought her home. I love my fids!
