  • diabetes can be (but not must be) induced by mercury or lead poisoning. This poisoning can be partially removed by taking ala or better R-Ala and DMSA in a certain scheme. I dont generally recommend to take ala over a long period because it depletes the body of minerals, using its power to bind metal atoms with its di-sulfur group.

  • Thank you for you tip on Alpha Lipoic Acid-I take 600mg twice a day. Another one I take is CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid Blend 1000mg gels before meals. Lilly Co and Nordisk Insulin are manufacturing NPH and Humelin Injectibles w/Meta Cresol and Phenols these are 2 industrial poisons-made me soo very sick for 21/2 years not knowing what was wrong since my HbA1C was below 6%. FYI and thank you again for the message to all diabetic who want a better quality of life.

  • @pattifudge I take 300 mg daily. Most important thing for you to do right now is get on a program with the doctor. Exercise is really important for you at this stage to drop some lbs and get those sugars down.

  • I was diagnosed a week ago with Type 2. How much should a person take per day of this supplement?

  • first and foremost, the first thing every diabetic should do to "CURE" their diabeties is diet and exercise, with this you can greatly reduce any drug dependancy you may have, second, supplements, however start w/an excellent multivitamin fir st then add ZALA and coq10 to help combat this, also i recommend you take garlic with anything sugar as it will help in the uptake and keep insulin lvl's more stabalized

  • Thankyou for sharing...

  • r-ala I believe is the better choice which is a more stabilized form of ala. You can also buy r-ala products with biotin already in them.

Knowledgeable and experienced bodybuilders and athletes have used this together with acetyl-l-carnitine for over a decade and swear by it as a combo, they would also add stimulants but I doubt that relates to diabetes.

The green tea also, grape seed and flax someone else already mention is also excellent to add.

  • Pass 5 month, and ALA, didn't work for me, actually the sugar blood rised more.
