How outrageous that 13 years after we recorded this song, Americans are still on their knees begging the billions-stealing banksters/governors in DC to please remove our troops from this oil war profiteering thing they keep feeding on! Maybe it's because enough of you haven't heard me sing this song :)

Billy Joel surely is the pride of Long Island! This song is one of the best anti-war songs ever. If we're not careful we will all go down together, very low. Chain of command defies the collective intelligence of the heart, and should be questioned, please!

This may be my best song. I feel grateful that UI was accompanied on piano by my music arranger, William Frederick McDaniels, also a great music director i.e. Smokey Joe's Cafe. Stuart Grant plays the bass. We hope you like it!
