Plenty of songs heard today are in fact covers from old songs. I'd say every 4'th hit song is a cover.
April March actually did a cover version where she sings the original french lyrics as well.
I guess you already know how Harley Quinn got her name? Both her name and character is based a lot on her voice actress Arleen Sorkin.
Arleen Sorkin is a comedienne and reportedly as funny in private as well.
