LEAK? The cap on the water container probably isn't screwed on completely and/or it isn't seated properly. Also, be sure that the drain knob below the on/off switch is closed completely (it may arrived open.)
I've been using the Tobi for over a month and think it's great, superior than an iron. My only complaint is that it is a bit cumbersome to use...

I just saw this on the tv and I was so impressed, but thanks to this video I won't be buying one. Why do most of the things on the shopping channels always turn out to be crap?

yes it does leak! Mine leaks from underneath. Each time I use it I have a big pool of water underneath and yes the black knob is tight. Oui ça coule en tabourette! Juste en dessous à chaqque fois que je l'utilise j'ai une flaque d'eau en dessous et Oui le petit bouton noir et bien visé. En passant le site Web de Tobi n'est plus disponible.

I also just purchased the TOBI, was so excited, saw the TV ad 2 years ago and been dying to lay my hands on it. I know what a steamer is supposed to do since I worked in a clothing store for several years, and the TOBI does NOT work like a proper steamer. Support is bad, quality is bad, the hose is very stiff and often when I needed to steam the bottom of a shirt and sleeves it would just bend and block the steam. Overall this product was very frustrating and I'm going to return it tomorrow.

Pretty sure it was your fault it was leaking.

I think this TOBI like the uploader say ARE ONLY GOOD FOR WOMEN CLOTHING , most women clothing are thin compare to guys daily clothing so. Anyone whose leaving a message that it works is probably a woman. I got lots of thick clothes from home clothing to going out clothes. So I watched a few reviews and I people who like this product are mostly women. Im a man im not buying this.

i just got one today, i must admit, it doesnt work like on tv. i'll give it more of a chance, but i'm not impressed by first impressions!

the tobi isnt the best thing out in the world for like formal and button ups i preffer an iron u get a crispier look but for shirts that have designs on them i use a tobi because an iron will burn off the designs.

I bought one cause I hate ironing and would rather go wrinkly than iron......the support bar is crap, when I hang a shirt or even the hose, it falls, and it sure doesnt work like the commercial......I saw one made by Bissel (I think, I'm not sure but it was a brand name) and it was about $150 and I wondered if it was any better? Anyone know? I might pawn this off on someonelse and buy the other one.

i was going to buy it untill i saw this unsatisied message that you have wrote about toby cloths steamer.
Also, after posting this vid, I was contacted by Tobi people from the USA and was offered a totally free Tobi in exchange of me removing/modifying the video if I was satisfied with the product. The free Tobi they sent me works well, but I wasn't satisfied so I left the vid there. I really sent them an endless message with modifications they should do on their product and offered help (I am a future engineer), and never got an answer back. Clearly, they don't give a damn if it works well or not.

Since people are still watching this vid, I thought I would write something to be fair. If you are a girl with only cloths made with thin fabrics, you MIGHT find this useful. It's NOT better than an iron and it DOESN'T clean anything. You WILL have trouble handling your cloths correctly while steaming because the support is crap. If you somehow find a vertical support for your cloths while steaming, it will save you trouble. If you incline the Tobi, even a functional model may leak.
