Raymond Fairchild is the best , some of the young pickers today need to know this name. I met Raymond like 25 years ago and he was as nice then as today. Really good North Carolina man there. Thanks for putting that on here.

whats the story of his? i mean i just saw 2 other videos and he is playing with 2 other guys and said nothing.and everyone is commenting on that(the fact that he is not talking) and now he is and so everyone is commenting on the fact that he is..ok i dont think anyone will get what i mean but anyway.xD if someone do so pls tell me.xD

Great memories for me. I actually saw, and met, Raymond Fairchild at the Maggie Valley Opry, in NC, back in April, 1989 along with the Crowe Brothers. One of the highlights of many visits I made to the USA from the UK. A superb five-string picker and a pleasure to see him on this video.
