Dominican Republic Receives the Gift of Hearing

So...I thought I'd upload something uplifting. Yes, a deviation from my normal comedic videos, but something I hope you'll enjoy. Since 2001, I've worked as a videographer with the Starkey Hearing Foundation as they've traveled the globe providing the gift of hearing to thousands of individuals who could never afford to purchase hearing aids on their own. I've seen children hear their parents' voices for the first time. I've seen people say their own name for the first time and hear their own voice for the first time. I've seen people enjoy the chirping of birds and the noise a car makes as it drives by...all for the first time. It's been a privilege to work with the people of the Starkey Hearing Foundation and all those I've met around the world, and I'd like to share that experience with you.
