  • GRAY! I have been dying, dying, DYING to get my paws on anything Gray related! Are you aware of any records they may have distributed that could be available now? My research has been underwhelmingly unsuccessful.

  • Yeah their is! Their is the Downtown 81 album which I have for sale on eBay: Item number, 250587860244. Have a look!

  • @aarondkeogh Oh, hi! I've had my head in the clouds a bit lately, so I missed your reply. A lackadaisical month, really. I have to confess that I do own the film and OST, so I hope your efforts with ebay were rewarded. A very nice gesture :) Although impossible, I am looking for material that is strictly Gray only, I'm afraid. As far as I have gathered, there is at least one album recorded. I feel like Indiana Jones about this, but I've got to get that album!

  • Indiana Jones you are, where about's do you live? I suppose if your down with the art scene you'll have a good chance of knowing someone who owns a record shop, I bet the Grey stuff will be on wax too, so you might want to try old record shops! Have fun hunting in the jungle!!

  • downtown 81 42:30 there's an awesome jazz track you know something about it?

  • @ipotemin wish I did, can't find the full movie anywhere on-line. Only option is to buy it.

  • @zadeh79 I've seen your negative comments on many Basquiat videos. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

  • @MordaciousFilms naaa i say hes a Fuck. when u go off copy pasting the same shit on other Basquiat vids its cuz hes a self rightous old prick who wants everyone to agree with him. that and or he seems to think he knows what art is. what is art exactly, its up to the individual to decide. just dont hate and try to hav a band wagon of people to agree with your hate. i responed to this ass hole the fact that i saw a duplicate of his message just really shows hes got nothing to do.

  • My view has nothing to do with Basquiat being black. There a plenty of black artists with notable artwork - pretty much every single black artist I have come across. Just go to avisca . com to see some respectable talent.

  • @zadeh79 Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

  • People have to stop justifying the scribbles of this junkie, as notable artwork. Basquiat is a joke. "Amateurish", would be a compliment. It's the worst of the worst. It's juvenile. And it, generally, only appeals to the smallest minority of the populace, whom can relate to him racially and economically. God, his stuff was bad, and not only in the sense of opinions. He was a man who's only novelty came in emulating typical toddler art, one can find scattered on a refrigerator.

  • @aarondkeogh Netflix.

  • @aarondkeogh gosh, i could not remember if had responded to you or not! oops! i am currently in the u.s. 'whereabouts' is not an exact location ;)

not sure if i am 'down' in the scene or not, you'd have to ask someone else. there are plenty of record shops, but it's a pain deciding where to start because it will be a hunt as you say. i guess that's part of the fun! thanks for your concern and i will come back with any new information.
