This is my Animated Short, featured in the Art of Digital Show 2007 in San Diego, The T-10 Festival in Oakland, Smogdance in Pomona, etc.

The concept of this piece is to be simultaneously a VJ set
and a character based short film.
The story concerns Mr. Manley Cubicle and his descent into madness.
It is an audio/visual parody, or tribute to the music and videos of the 1980's,
and a satire of the lifestyle of the new century - certainly the subjects of
information overload and corporate dehumanization
have never been more relevant than now.
"Do Itashimashite, Mr. Cubicle."

  • New improved version with VOCALS is coming soon! For my upcoming DVD album. Stay tuned...

  • Love this! Its the sort of thing you can watch over and over and get something new each time! This gets 5 stars and i'm more in than the guy in the video now and hitting the subscribe button

  • Thanks!

Though the video is creepy, I hope that office workers and the information technology obsessed find "a sense of empathy" in this, rather than being offended by it! (as my ex-girlfriend was. ;-P ) I could not have made this film if I was not caught up in the new century "information overload" myself!

  • This is great, where can I get an mp3?

  • thanks! This is the first "single" from my soon-to-be album "Red 5" - a DVD (with a music video for EVERY song), including MP3s for iPods, etc. I'm thinking over how to handle the MP3s... I will let you know soon.

  • Love it! Poor Mr. Cubicle :(

  • I only dreamed these characters once, which is surprsing? But plenty of other sleepless nights were involved.

  • just think about watching it 1000 times in row while making it! ;-)

  • wow that is a trip Franz!
