Are we all being brainwashed? Or, have we just lost our minds? You be the judge...

  • It's my understanding that several decades of research show subliminal messages to have only a mild influence, and that only when the subject is already predispositioned toward the message (so that, say, a message reading "Eat less" might slightly influence someone interested in losing weight, but wouldn't affect someone content with their shape at all). So - yes, subliminal influence has been attempted, but it has very little effect.

  • @Tigerpaws9097826 - While this may be YOUR understanding of the decades of research in this field, perhaps you'd care to enlighten us by referencing an actual scientific study that supports this theory???

  • Great! I want to see the rest! I do think its a bit of a duh, no kidding they do, but its mind boggling to wrap our consious mind around what we must be subjected to.... without knowing. Isn't enlighment realizing our social condition in the face of it all... wasn't that what the matrix was about... cool stuff

  • Thanks. I think although there's quite a few "duh" moments in the film, there are many more "oh my god's" and "i can't believe it it's". Some very revealing stuff.

Also, funny you should mention The Matrix - we actually use a clip from the film to illustrate a point.

    Stay Tuned...

  • if they make a film about this, ain't that like 1 and a half hours of condesnsed subliminals messages that people are going to subject themselves to willingly?

  • The film is an expose that raises questions and illustrates examples of subliminal usage in a wide variety of media.

The goal is to create a greater sense of awareness in the viewer. Once you have a conscious perception of what was once hidden, it is no longer considered "subliminal".

So in short, the answer to your question is NO - NOT AT ALL.

  • You know that commercial you've seen 100 times? After it's been running for a month you know it by heart. That's when between new commercials there is a "glich" at the tv station and they "accidentally" put the first .25 seconds of that commercial on. You instantly recognize it and can recall the whole thing. You think they don't do that on purpose? Somebody please research this. Is there an industry term for it? What do they charge for these "shorts" or whatever the advertising industry calls

  • I've seen the movie and it's really great. Everyone should see it. It explains subliminal messaging and the propaganda around it really well. A lot of the statements and theories are supported by actual scientific trials so that was really cool to see. If I were in LA tonight, I'd go see the film at the Laemmle's Sunset 5 theater. I hope it gets people starting to talk about this kind of tihng because it could make or break our nation. lat .ms/nRrPum

  • So when do WE get to see this movie? All that's out here in the boonies are movies about apes and people blowing things up..(yawn)

  • @IgniteTheMind I think the illuminati is far worse than these amature companys

  • DOPE!

  • Todos sabem de tudo ,no tempo do nazismo também e tds morreram, e vcs tbm morrerão,e o pior com todos seus conhecimento.

  • @IgniteTheMind actually, the burden is on you and the creator of this video. you have to show the evidence that subliminal evidence has long-term effect in people. ironically, its quite simple to show that your claim is unsubstantiated.

  • Oh, I definitely want to see this. I don't know if I fully believe in the concept or not, but it really looks interesting. Is the whole movie on your page? I see you have different parts listed, but all of your uploads are only a couple minutes long.

  • What you are opening up to subconsciously plays out virtually on the mirror.

  • when is it out?
