"We've all heard it said a hundred times over the years that this and that will be
the next big game, the World of Warcraft game ender. The warhammers, Conans, and Rifts have all claimed, come, and gone. Yet after all these years WoW still remains on top, unscathed, with most people that swear the game off and vow never to return, myself included, always come back to Azeroth seeking to continue their adventures with old guildies and familliar lore.

So what will it take to topple the monster? Can wow ever really and truly
be stopped from the MMO Warpath that it has blazed for the last 6 years?
Do we see anything on the horizon that can potentially put a dent in
WoWs subscriber count? is there anything Blizzard should be doing or can do

Well, I just want to say... Blizzard has -tried- to do a shooter, called "Starcraft: Ghost". It was supposed to follow the story of Nova, a Terran operative. The game was announced in 2002, and supposed to release in 2004. But Blizzard and other major developers kept pushing it back, and in 2008 people said it was canceled. But a list by Blizzard showing their canceled games, Ghost was never shown. When the Co-Founder was asked, he said it was never canceled. We still dunno.
