I have a MacBook Pro & KRK R6 Studio Monitors, will the M-Audio Firewire 1814 connect these together, as well as allow me to record vocals using a studio mic? x.

@zkagtrendy hello friend, no problems on asking when we dont know something: well rthis is a external soud card. is one apparatus needed for professional recordings, as the onboard computer soundcard (wich cames inside every new computer) cannot handle a recording session properly, because the onboard sound chips are so slow doing their math...so this external device, hooked up to a desktop computer later, can hadle up to 18 channels, or different instruments being recorded all same time.

Hi Andrecarioni, Thanks for uploading the video. I just have a quick question.
I am using the same sound card from M Audio but connected to a dell vostro 1500 laptop which is fairly equipped with 2 gigs of ram.
When I start recording using any software such as Music creator or Ableton , after a few seconds I start getting a beeping sound into the input and it stops the recording .. Any thoughts ??
Thanks..Srikanth

@hnsrikanth probably the issue is your hardware. i am almost sure. 90% sure. for a proper recording and playing with this firewire soundcard, you need a firewire connection. this firewire MUST BE CONTROLLED BY A TEXXAS-INSTRUMENT brand makers of fine controllers chips. probably your controller is VIA, NEC or even SIS brand, wich is garbage for audio domain, understand? in other words: you need another card firewire adapter, TExAS chip.
