  • Nice smooth moves, nice noto and get a top knot, or at least a hair bobble, your not aragami.lol

Question 1 - why do you not tie up the sageo?

Question 2 - Why do you have a fist after cutting? Bad habit or specific style?

I think you lean too much into second set second cut.

  • fist on the noto? yes thats the style and sageo was not tied because i did not find it essential for what i was doing but for tamami i would and for testings... i didn't feel like properly tying my hakama in this video because i was lazy or however i was feeling at the time lol

  • @SheepMasterTojo In a sword duel, you wouldn't expect a cut from below? you'd be history.

  • Eishin-ryu. With a hint of Niten-ichi Freeform....?

    :) very nice.

  • Wow, you remind me of a guy a like with the coolness factor (including the hair thing - you might want to use a ponytail or cut the fringe before it impairs on your cutting :) ). Question though. I know it's silly but I'm curious as I do not do iaido, do you have to clean the sword after each cut, i.e. is the katana treated so there won't be problems once it touches water with chlorine? Also, where did you learn your art? Thanks.

  • DDDUUUDDDEEE!!!!

    You are an AMAZING CUTTERR!!!!!

    Start cutting Fuc*ing REAL TATAMI!!!!!!!!

    YOU ARE AWEESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen ALOT of ppl cutting and you are at the top 20, maybe top 10! you are AWESOME!

  • Can I ask you a question?

What aspects of Kenjutsu vary from style to style?

    btw:great video,and smooth moves.

    Rock on.

  • no.... its meant for draw cutting at every angle with the wrist not over rotating because its harder from blade facing down than it is facing up... thats the practicality of it... not cutting the saya...

  • It's practicality is what you forgot, blade up means blade does not cut wood.

  • upwards is used very often unless on horseback but its the styles teachings and i believe all styles teach it that way. but its more polite i've heard and having the blade up is more precise for cutting as well as faster and theres something else i cant remember that it symbolizes
