What I also think when it comes to the connection between psychology and selling is that you have to believe in the product yourself, there's nothing more like mission impossible than trying to convince someone else to buy something that you yourself would never buy Lol, often I think sales companies make this common mistake of employing sales people and fail to make sure that they ( the sales people) are convinced themselves before letting them on the phone or out on the street to sell.
