Depends on the samurai. There were historical Christian samurai. You can't categorize all samurai as such, but I'm sure there were indeed samurai who were like this.

People who are truly following God's word wouldn't do such things. There are many people who say that they are Christians , but few truley are.

Alot of leaders (as well as common people) have used Christianty as a scapgoat so that Christian gets the blame and sadly enough it works.

Read the book "The Compassionate Samurai" It's by Brian Klemar. He is a personal friend of mine and has a multi-million dollar business. Just read the book.

True like Soliders ( which Samurai were) and cops . There are corrupt Solides ( i know because I was a Solider in the Army from 02-06 ) and we all know there are corrupt cops. It really depends on the person.

@Swordshapedbox you're right, about the Christian Samurai, and right about the samurai being like the ones HORACEBONES speaks of. the ones HORACEBONES speaks of are the ones that attacked Korea, China.

Samurai were ruthless murders, gamblers, thieves, and tyrants. christians have already mastered all these traits. The difference is that samurai often lived by principles. You can't say the same for christians.
