He wasn't saying that the way to true happiness is through delusional communications with an imaginary friend that leave you devoid of any accurate mental map of reality. Again, he never said that it was a good thing to do, nor did he accidentally insinuate that.

It is about *feeling* secure. Everything about religion boils down to a feeling of security. No one can know they're truly secure from all harm but they can embrace the feeling of being secure. Religion is the feeling of being secure.

sam harris is the worst preacher of atheism that this way of thinking could have. in debates and talks, the stuff he throws out, from the top of his head, is on a level of a stupid, irrational and angry teenager. he's 44!!!!!!

i am ashamed to call myself an atheist, which by definition i must be, because most people associate atheism with idiots like sam harris. he's really an idiot first, atheist second.
