@jeanniemotherof3 How is Heat about loneliness and loss when the main protagonists are more than happy to inflict these upon themselves? I'd only go so far as to say it is about sacrifice - not loss. Also, Loneliness has absolutely nothing to do with substantiating their motivations

You can interpret it in any way you like, but the dualism aspect is the only one that's 100% apparent. Think of the point where McCauley and Hanna meet and compare this with the yin and the yang

@scrfce123 Yes it is! Heat is a film about loneliness and loss.... centered around the crime aspect,. some people think it is an action film, however this is not the main theme.
