@PacoBell and i swear that's beehives in the background of the photo. So @ 1:17 when Nicholas Cage says "oh no!" when he notices that the image is focused on the Beehives instead of the girl, it's probably genuine distress.

forgot to mention with IR sensor you can focus in very low light condition

What they don't tell you is that you get massive resolution trade off OR use a kinect (like a Sony f717) and multi capture images (localized focusing or "focus stacking") into one images then wrap it with the IR field to create a 3D image. IR info can be embedded in the photo so you can play around with DOP afterwards.

That way you wont get resolution reduction and enabling to play with a 3D image, but it not as elegant as plenoptics lens though, due to timing of focus stacking.
